Raquel Billingslea is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Raquel has spent decades in various areas of practice, from pediatrics, geriatrics, urgent care, primary care, and hospital-based medicine. She has practiced in challenging and rigorous healthcare settings alongside highly recognized emergency medicine and primary care physicians in Atlanta. Before establishing her private practice in February 2025, she held the position of Clinical Director at a well-known healthcare organization, managing seven successful urgent and primary care clinics. That rewarding position elevated Raquel's enthusiasm to focus on an alternative approach to healthcare, giving patients more time with their provider to ensure they are being heard. Most practices today are based on volume and the "get them in, get them out" approach, primarily due to the demands from insurance companies. Raquel recognizes that the traditional method of primary care is impersonal and too fast-paced to allow for thorough patient care.
